| About us |
Ever been stuck in Finland and wondered what a "peruna" is? Or in Malta and wanted to ask for an aubergine but did not know how? Ever been curious about what different shapes and sizes of bottle there are for wines? Do you go to the Apple Day festivals and think Oh. what was the name of that apple? Or been in Japan and thought What am I eating?
Whatamieating.com already has the largest lists of food-related words available in about 40 of the languages it contains. If you cannot find what you are looking for, just e-mail queries@whatamieating.com and we will try to find out for you.
At the moment the site is down as we have had many more hits than we expected. We are rewriting the code to support this. It is due to relaunch in December 2006.
In the mean time, please e-mail us at queries@whatamieating.com with any queries and we will do what we can to answer them. |
